HANGING OUT AT NEW HORIZON CENTRE (TOA PAYOH)

Fun and remembrance were the order of the day! After getting all warmed up with some groovy exercises, the elderly participated in several rounds of nostalgic celebrity- and song-guessing games. They were so good at it that all the prizes were given out by the end of the games!

Then, we got them to savour local favourites like kaya toast and rice dumplings. As they enjoyed the treats, they shared with us the fond memories they had associated with them. Before lunch, we also had the opportunity to engage the elderly in a colouring activity, where they showed off their artistic skills. It was certainly hard to say goodbye after the short but meaningful time we spent!
